October 30, 2008 1:46 pm · Link I heard 6:00 p.m. today...but I'm not sure I believe it, because when I walked down from my house yesterday at 4:00 p.m. not one twig or wire had been touched! Those live -- dangerous -- wires were in the same position they had been at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Even though there were lots and lots of trees down, surely this had to be one of the most dangerous and precarious situations in the area. Where was JCP&L? My other question would be "Do we have a disaster plan in place for getting people out of their houses, past live wires to a location that has heat and where they can get food?" Some people have generators, but some don't. I think the way this storm was handled could have been better. JenniferS
