We as taxpayers in Washington Township Morris County NJ are appalled by the recent Tax revaluation upon our property.
The Politicians protect this plan and raise taxes as our values decrease beyond the evaluation amount. Value of our homes and property has decreased as much as 20% yet taxes have risen as much as 50% in some cases.

Walk with us in the Washington Township day parade September 27th. Bring your children and enjoy this event while walking the parade route with the politicians who are raising the taxes. WE MUST RAISE OUR VOICE in record numbers TO BE HEARD. Carry a sign that reads RECALL THE REVAL. Sign our petition at the middle school tent and get instruction on how to file an appeal in January 2008 in Morris County Tax court. Let us stand together to force the politicians of this town to STOP WASTEFULL SPENDING giving themselves 25% pay increase and lowering the taxes on Township employee homes while the rest of us pay increases. Fat benefit packages that will only force taxes higher and offer no relief for the hardworking people in this small town.
