School on Monday Jan. 16
This year, the students in our district are scheduled to have school on MLK day. This is not because they used up all their snow days. It was not a scheduled day off to begin with (this year).
I'm wondering if other schools in the area are attending school that day? Just curious - not being judgmental.

LV Anne -MLK was scheduled to be a day off for both the k-8 district and the high school.
WT's K-8 District scheduled 4 days for snow days into the 2011-12 calendar. All four days were used up in by the end of Oct. MLK Day was scheduled to be a day off as well as President's Day, (Feb.20) and the day after, (Feb. 21) in the original school calendar. Now classes will be held on all three days.

WMRHSD had scheduled 5 snow days into the 2011-12 calendar. Four days were used up by the end of Oct. MLK was scheduled to be a day off as well as President's Day and the day after in February in the original school calendar. Now MLK Day will be a half day as well as President's Day. February 21 will be a full day of classes.
