Looking for a good Orthodontist
Hi All
Any referrals for a good Orthodontist in the area?
I was looking into Flanders Pediatric Dental and just wanted to compare them to a few others.
i love dr. orienstein in hackettstown. he worked on my teeth and my families. i am in my 30's and still get compliments on my straight teeth when i see different denstist's. they ask, who gave me braces, i reply with dr.o and they always say, "i thought so, he does great work!" i worked for him for a few years in college and he is a perfectionist when it comes to fixing teeth. he has a great attitude and is so nice. he is great with the kids and makes sure that you are always happy with the outcome.
Dr Mellas is very good for early intervention if that is a factor. My daughter has had a pallette expander and lower retainer for a year and her teeth are pretty straight. She is 9.

Is this the same Dr. Murphy that use to be next to Mama's? Part of my anxiety towards dentists stems from those days. I remember when I would cringe he would tell me that this was nothing compared to being in the Army. I'm not sure how that was suppose to make me feel better as a kid.
I look back now and I guess it wasn't that bad.
Dr Ken Murphy is a great orthodontist & does a fantastic job with kids. He is well known for his work. He did a great job on my son, he gets compliments all the time on how straight his teeth are. It is worth going in to meet him & the staff.
Dr. Murphy in Hackettstown is a great Orthodontist. He put braces on both of my daughters. They have been out of braces for a few years now but he still sees them for retainer adjustments if they need it at no charge. He has a wonderful staff also. The entire office is great with the patients and goes out of their way to assure nervous parents. I highly recommend Dr. Murphy's office.
