Does anyone know if the trucker was ok? It looked like a pretty bad accident. I couldn't tell if any other vehicles were involved. Hopefully the road will open heading north for the commute home.

It's on the Patch: http://longvalley.patch.com/articles/tractor-trailer-crash-closes-schooleys-mountain-rd

The driver hurt his leg; no fatalities.

A portion of Schooley Mountain Rd. will be closed until 2 A.M. Tuesday, Sept. 27 to repair the pole that got knocked down.

isn't that why trucks like that aren't supposed to go up the mountain?

Saw a huge moving truck trying to get up the mountain last week and it got as far as the "big turn" and I guess didnt have the power to get up it and they had to call in a tow. Had traffic backed up in both directions. Keep the trucks off Schooleys Mt. Road.

Are there enough signs that warn truck drivers of the severity of the Schooleys Mountain Rd?

Middle valley Road has an "impassable" sign but Schooley's Mountain Road only has a weight limit sign (I think).
