New Bar and Grill in the Valley
Anybody try that new bar and grill in the Valley? I believe it's called Cornerstone or something like that. It's where Salerno's pizza was.

Hi, Calico. I live up the street from there. It's the same owners, same menu (pizza etc). New decor, new name. I think that their beer/wine license is coming soon. My husband talked to one of the owners and she seemed a little annoyed that no one was understanding the transition and that it was the 'same place, just a different name.'
JessicaThanks Jessica. I know a lot of people who are disappointed because they think Salerno's closed down and a new restaurant went in. Why the owner assumes that everyone will know it's the 'same place, just a different name' is beyond me. A new sign indicates a new business that many will not want to try. They should have done a better job advertising the change.

I like the concept. I would remove Pizza entirely from the sign. I'm not sure there is a need for 3 (or 4?) pizza places in basically one strip mall.
Yeah-- but while there are a LOT of pizzerias in Long Valley, Salernos is definitely the best of them. That pizzeria in the strip mall next to Valley Pub is DISGUSTING. I have never eaten a slice of pizza that was so gross that I couldn't actually finish it, until I went there. So gross!
John If you want REALLY good pizza take a drive to White House Station and try Casa Bianca. It was rated the best pizza in NJ by NJ Monthly Magazine. If you'd prefer to stay in LV, Splash has a delicious Margharita Pie. (but Casa Bianca is still our favorite!)
