Where can I get: Japanese Hair Straightening (AKA Thermal Reconditioning)I'm looking for a closer more local salon that does the Japanese Hair Straightening Method (Thermal Reconditioning)...Does anyone have any suggestions?
I've had my hair done the Japanese Method (AKA Thermal Reconditioning) several times now, but have driving out to NYC to get it done since I hadn't found a local salon to do the job. It lasts a good 10 months until you have enough growth to start craving another dose, but it is so worth the money. The length of time it lasts depends on your hair type...for curlier hair it may last a little less. Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with curly or straight hair...just frizzy mess. I used to go the opposite direction and get a perm or body wave to give me a more desireable look for those days I just dont have the time or energry to blow it out. But the Japanese method make for great wash and go straight hair. No blow dry needed! I had the Keratin job done last January and I'm sorry to say that it was the biggest waste of $350! It washed out in only 2 months. So I went back to the Japanese method. The reason the Japanese have perfected this method is because many of them actually have kinky and frizzy hair. Thanks for the local tips. I'll check those out. If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know.
Google Japanese Hair Straightening or Thermal Reconditioning for more information.
