KEVIN MARTIN WALSH LONG VALLEY Kevin Martin Walsh, born Jan. 25, 1965 in Orange, NJ to the late Sylvester Walsh and the late Alma Nora Cooney Walsh. He has been living in Long Valley for the past 10 years. He was previously from Livingston. Kevin was a marketing consultant. He was Owner and President of KMW Consultants in Long Valley. He graduated from Newark Academy and Villanova University. Kevin was community leader and known for his civic pride. He was a member of the Washington Township's Planning Board since 1998. He won election to the Township Committee in 2004. He served as Mayor in 2007 and Vice Mayor in 2008. He was instrumental in the formation of the Washington Township Community Events Organization. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Morristown. He is survived by his daughters, Kerry and Kayleigh; His former Wife, Sandy Walsh; His sisters, Linda Howard, Gail Eagan and her husband Frank, Erin Walsh and her husband Billy Magro; His nieces, Heather, Colleen, Katie, Alana and Briana. He was predeceased by his parents, Sylvester and Alma Nora (Cooney) Walsh. There will be a Memorial gathering on Friday Jan. 22nd from 3:00-7:00pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home 15 Furnace Road, Chester N.J. There will be a Funeral Mass held on Saturday Jan. 23rd at 10:00am at St. Luke Parish in Long Valley, NJ. Family and friends will meet directly at church Saturday morning. Burial at German Valley Rural Cemetery in Long Valley.
