Ride for Awareness 2009 & Bicycle Safety Day

Come out to support The David D. Hammar Foundation, and promote bicycle safety & helmet awareness, by enjoying a fun day of cycling around scenic Long Valley / Califon, NJ. The David D. Hammar Foundation, will be hosting its first annual "Ride for Awareness". There are a few challenging climbs, but they are all rewarded with fun descents. This will be a very enjoyable ride for every cyclist.

Entry fee includes: ($30 pre-reg, $35 day of event)
Organized ride with police presence, ride support, refreshments at mile 13, light breakfast
(bagels, bananas, etc.), awards for top 3 Men & Women finishers, and a T-shirt.

** All times for event riders will be posted on website within 48 hours of event.

There will also be a bicycle safety day in conjunction with the ride, geared towards kids. The Davd D. Hammar Foundation will be having bicycle safety demonstrations, bicycle safety checks, handing out helmets to children, etc..
